In his practice David uses drawing and painting to facilitate an instinctive investigation into making sense of what it is to be in this world. To be here on the Earth right now.
Born in Kent and now based in London, following his graduation from the Royal College of Art in 2018, David previously studied painting at Brighton University where he was awarded a scholarship for excellence in 2012.
David has taken part in international artist-in-residence programmes and recently had his work featured in Turps magazine (Issue 23). Recent exhibitions include Eyrie at CAR DRDE, Bologna, Italy 2020; The Thing That Moves at Pierre Poumet, Bordeaux, France 2019; A Hand Stuffed Mattress – Terrace Gallery, London 2019; Nouvelles Acquisitions at Maison Frugès – Le Corbusier, Pessac, France 2019.
